Shanghai China Buffet in tde Villages

A few meat items are good. All the while we were there- 6:30 - 7:40pm- no fresh food came out of the kitchen. It's still dinner time and there were about 7-8 tables of people. This is not OK. I am assuming if you know when they cook fresh it would be ok. The staff is friendly but .... we will not be going back.

Poor quality, and not enough choices for the price. No ambiance.... I was more than disappointed

The staff wasn't very friendly. They didn't have very much food out and no vegetables. They didn't replenish any food while I was there. What food they did have was good tasting though. I will not go back there and eat, nor do I recommend it as a place to eat. The only reason I am giving it a 1 star is because I have to.

It was just OK food was edible

Food is good prices are inexpensive I gave it five stars but they need to redo the my mom loves to enjoy unlimited shrimp eat

Good choices on the buffet bars. All of the typical meals are represented. The room is quite large and the service is great. The prices are also in line with typical Chinese buffets. We were just passing through and decided on a place that everyone would be able to find something to put on their plate. This place has exactly what we were looking for. If you are in the area and looking for a good variety, this is the place! Highly recommended!

Food is ok, but a lot of times is cold.

So disappointing. We are new too the area and wanted Chinese for date night. Not much of a selection to begin with. The only good thing about it was the crab Rangoon. You know that overly stuffed feeling you get when leaving a Chinese Buffet? Yeah, if that's what you are looking for, don't stop here! Pennies from $30.00 for our meal and we left nauseated and still hungry😔 The elderly couple walking out from behind us, overhead our conversation and totally agreed. The search continues for the Great Chinese Buffet...

Very good selection of food and awesome service

Steamed shrimp were spoiled, I have used bait that was fresher. Told our server, "I check it out." She never looked at it, only threw a scoop of ice on them. Many items, egg rolls, spring rolls, entrees on the buffet were cold. FOOD IS NOT SAFE!!!

Never coming back here after I after I eat The girl come out clean something on the floor use the same rag to clean the table and put next to the food on the buffet trays Right in front of me disgusting dusted

It wasn't bad for a quick lunch @ 3pm. However nothing spectacular to rant about as far as food wise however the staff were really friendly. In addition to the restaurant atmosphere I wasn't keen to be made to listen or watch the news while I'm dinning out. Would have rather enjoyed an atmosphere that allowed for better conversation that wants to bring people in.

Poor selection. Food cold and/or rubberized by the heat lamps. Soups bland. Slightly unclean... sticky drips on wall and across the painting at our booth that obviously hardened there. Bathroom cleaners left out on tables customers eat on along with dirty gloves. Sadly, was just not that impressed overall. Will not return.

Edible food just not somewhere I would take someone. Is good enough for a quick lunch with options but not great. Food wasn't even hot. Very good service though.

Whatever small selection of food they had literally looked and tasted like it sat out all day

The food was cold. There was a variety of food but most of food that should have been served hot was either lukewarm and cold.

This place is repulsive! The food looked like it had been out for 3 days. It was prime dinner time and there was one table occupied. I should have taken the red flag and ran.

Our first time at this restaurant and there will be no return visits. We were greeted and sat promptly and our server was good, kept the drink refilled. The food is buffet style and not that much to choose from; none of the food was that good. I tried a bbq rib, tough and dry, two bites were enough. The Teriyaki chicken was cold and tough, again two bites, forget it. The rice was hard, some of it anyways. We figured something was off when we got there around 4:30 PM and only three people there eating. While we were there four others did come in. Maybe they were having an off day, but we will not be back.

I am just leaving. The food was incredible the selection is small but there is plenty that me and my husband whole have completely different tastes are happy. My kids enjoyed the food as well. The price is fair for what you receive. And the service was great very friendly, (hard to understand but my cup was always full and my empty plates were always promptly cleared). I will definitely return.

Some food was cold but overall delish

Worst buffet ever food was cold, food was old, server was an angry woman and bathroom disgusting. I made my plate and ate 2 bites of food. Then I got sick 2 seperate times. I asked the server if I have to pay for my plate or at least a discount. She took my plate and started yelling in Chinese across the restaurant and would not stop. So now I'm embarrassed and received our $2.50 soda for free as the discount. Both my husband and son barely ate 1 plate of food themselves. This was the first time ever that I did not leave a tip. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I saw this China Buffet that was located in The villages. I thought it would be a very decent place since it’s located there. As soon as I went in, from the start I knew there was something off. While I was going around the choices, There was barely any variation of food and it was very cold. I told the server if there was anything else. She said I had to order off the menu. I thought it would be fine. As soon as I get my plate the food tasted like if it was reheated and the meat tasted like rubber. The soda was watered down. Even the Ice cream area was all nasty didn’t even look sanitary. Please don’t come to this restaurant you are going to waste your money here. I paid for something that I didn’t eat.

The coconut shrimp were delicious

Not a lot of variety for the food. I came expecting to have hot fresh food and different things to try. The meat was cold and rubbery. I had 3 oysters and when I asked for more they said they don’t put more out. The ice cream was mixed with other flavors. The ice cream scoop was a orange tinted color. Thought this place was better.

Not much flavor nor selection. Restrooms had not been thoroughly cleaned for quite a while. Icecream cooler was nasty with mold and crusty icecream all over the frame.

Not temperature at all the items. Cold good it was was warm and hot food it was cold. We was so scared about eating

Just OK. Plenty of food but no real flavor. Place is open and good seating. Not worth my travel time since we have an excellent Chinese Buffet in Leesburg.

Great place for abundant animal, fish dishes. A food desert for WFPB vegan spouse.

The food was ok, not a very big selection compared to most I have been to. The staff was very friendly and assertive. Was not at all impressed by the cleanliness of the ice cream area and they had only been open a couple hours.

A roach crawled across our table as we were eating. We weren't expected to pay for our meal, which did not make us feel any better about what we had already eaten. Gross!!!

Barley any selection, food was cold. I’ve eaten here 2 and got food poisoning both times, roaches are a problem and it is not a good place to eat.

Husband and I went with our children food wasnt hot but it wasn't cold. We found ourself eating fried shrimp that kept coming out super hot. Nothing tasted as it should have. My husband tried the spare ribs and he said it tasted as if it had been freezer burnt. Probably won't be coming back.

Should be closed down by the Board of Health. Dirty, gross microwaved food.

Very good food.They have mostly seafood for dinner so if you like seafood wait till after 4pm

This place was absolutely disgusting. The food was cold and tasteless. Not many options. I should’ve known because the place was empty with hardly any people there and this was at dinner time. I do not recommend this place to anyone. My roommate and I have had upset stomachs all night and into this morning. Please be aware and stay away.

6pm: the food available was dryed out, pineapple chicken was all breading, fried rice was almost burnt & dry, white rice was cold, egg roll almost broke my tooth. Ice cream area was as filthy as the floor. Definitely the nastiest China buffet I ever been to. I give it a negative star rating
